Proudly Presenting Sift Tutorials

Bitbloom have launched a new Sift tutorial series on our youtube channel.

In Q4 last year, our team worked hard on the Sift tutorial series. This is our introductory video series for wind energy analytics.

Using the Sift platform, the series provides a comprehensive introduction for anyone looking to get to grips with wind energy analytics. The first episodes use Sift Explore to introduce topics such as working with open source data, improving data quality, identifying downtime and curtailments, and power curve efficiency trend analysis.

Make sure to like & subscribe so that you don’t miss the rest of the series, which will continue later this month!

Q4 Sift product updates

The Sift product range is designed to grow with you. Part of this growth includes continual development behind the scenes. We are always looking for ways to make the products better in response to your needs. With ongoing improvements, we’re excited to spotlight some of the latest changes and tick off things that have been on your wishlist.

Snooze alerts which don't need immediate attention

A way to snooze your alerts

We have introduced a new feature to help users silence alerts which don’t need immediate attention. Rather than creating a task, it is now easier than ever to go into your alerts, select the ones you would like to snooze, and input how long you would like to snooze the alerts for with the snooze button. This will silence the alerts on the homepage dashboard.

View thresholds on visualisations

New threshold toggle

We have introduced the option to view the alert thresholds next to visualisations. This new feature appears as a toggle next to the visualisations which can be toggled on and off to view the threshold lines which show the thresholds for information, warning, and critical alerts on the graph.

View relevant tasks

Filter tasks by month

We have added a new feature on the tasks page to allow users to filter relevant tasks from the last month. This filter shows any tasks with creation/edit/end date in the last month, or open tasks from before last month, last month being a timedelta, so (as close as possible to) the same date as today, but a month ago. The filter string for filtering to this view is the following:

(
(creation-date > months_from_now(-1)) |
(edited-date > months_from_now(-1)) |
(end-date > months_from_now(-1))
) | (
state[type = open] &
(edited-date <= months_from_now(-1))
)
