Sift Tutorial 6: Creating reference power curves for wind turbine performance analysis

Creating Reference Power Curves from Operational Data – brought to you by Bitbloom

The Sift platform improves renewable energy generation through rich renewable energy analytics and automation. Experts are empowered to look closer. In this video, we will create a reference power curve as a model for wind turbine operation.

Tutorial 6

Creating reference power curves for wind turbine performance analysis

In this video, we will create a reference power curve as a model for wind turbine operation in normal, uncurtailed conditions. This is then used to calculate expected power output for a measured wind speed, which we can use to monitor turbine power curve efficiency over time.
